Lieutenant Commander Christopher Coote (Sing’s, 1960 to 1964)
The following was provided by Nick Fulford (Segar’s, 1959-1964).
Chris died peacefully in hospital on Monday 15 August.
We joined the Navy together from Teddies in September 1964 and we both went on to the Royal Naval Engineering College at Manadon, Plymouth where we rowed together (although he was very much the better oarsman). Our career paths separated when I joined submarines and we have only made intermittent contact since.
