Meet the HM
Yvette was educated at the University of the West Indies in her native Trinidad. She then worked as a lecturer, parliamentary researcher and teacher before coming to the UK to be Head of Economics at Dover College. She joined the Economics department at Teddies in 2015, becoming Head of Department and then Housemistress of Avenue in 2018. A keen walker, she has repeatedly crossed Northern Spain as a pilgrim on the Camino de Santiago de Compostela. She enjoys travelling all over Europe and returns to visit her extensive family in Trinidad several times a year.
