Arts Awards

St Edward’s School has an exceptional record in the Arts. Outstanding Art, Design, Drama, Dance and Music Departments are complemented by the creative energy and eclectic public programme of The North Wall, the arts centre on school grounds shared with the local community.

Many former pupils have gone on to achieve success in the creative arts including Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones), Pippa Bennett-Warner (stage and screen actress), Graham Broadbent (producer of films such as The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel) and jewellery designer Sam Hunter.

Arts Awards are available in the following disciplines at Shell (13+) and Sixth Form (16+) entry:

Click on each discipline to find out more about the application process, which must be preceded in each case by satisfactory completion of an online academic test.

Arts Awards attract a fee remission of 2.5% per annum. Any pupil applying to St Edward’s is eligible to apply for a Bursary (fee assistance) up to 100% of fees.

For 16+ entry the online test will be taken in the October of Year 11 with entrance examinations and interviews in early November of Year 11.

For 13+ entry the online test, entrance examinations and interviews will be taken in the January of Year 8.
