Meet the HM

Adam was educated in Chester before his talent for rowing saw a move to Henley-on-Thames where he was a member of the Leander Club. This was followed by a stint rowing for Oxford Brookes University. During his time rowing for Leander and Oxford Brookes Adam represented Great Britain at U19 and U23 level and won Henley Royal Regatta twice. In 2008 Adam became a teacher, allowing him to develop both his passions of rowing and Psychology. Adam joined St Edward’s from Shiplake in 2018 as Head of Rowing and teacher of Psychology, and has been a Tutor in Tilly’s. Adam’s wife, Rachel, is the Partnerships Manager here at Teddies and they have two children; Ella and Jack. Jack, will be joining Teddies in 2026.
