Many congratulations to our A Level pupils on yesterday’s excellent results which complete a very successful summer for the outgoing Upper Sixth, surpassing even last year’s outstanding results. Across the cohort as a whole, nearly half of all grades were awarded at A*/A or 7/6 and 81% were awarded at A*-B or 7-5. In an exceptional year for university outcomes, nearly three quarters of the cohort secured places at Russell Group universities, the top destinations in the UK, including three at Oxford and Cambridge. The most popular UK universities for Teddies pupils this year are Durham, Edinburgh, Bristol, Newcastle and Leeds. Internationally, pupils secured places at Harvard, New York University, the University of Southern California, Hong Kong University and the University of Sydney, among many others.
