Posted @withregram • @goodschoolsguide St Edward’s Oxford is an independent day and boarding school for boys and girls aged 13 to 18. We made our merry way to genteel Summertown, Oxford a few months ago before the school lockdown and were thrilled to visit St. Edward's...or Teddies, as it is known by practically everyone. ⁣ ⁣ Read on to get a glimpse of our new review. ⁣ ⁣ Occupying 100 acres either side of the Woodstock Road, and with large playing fields and buildings 'suggestive of an Oxford college', Teddies has been on this site for nearly 150 years. ⁣ ⁣ The school curriculum provides an 'Aladdin’s cave of enlightened choices' and sixth formers are 'spoilt' when it comes to the range of options on offer. ⁣ ⁣ Teddies is clearly 'a sporty school', with a wide range of sports played and 'glittering prize walls' that illustrate their many successes. 🏆🥇 Creative subjects excel here too, with a professional-grade theatre🎭, dance studio🕺🏻, gallery🖼, music school (with 'elegant concert hall'🎫) as well as art and design aplenty 🎨- albeit in slightly less glamourous buildings. ⁣ ⁣ There's lots of boarding going on here 🛌🛁🍳 and the living quarters we visited were 'stylish and spacious'. ⁣ ⁣ We say St Edward's is a 'happy, fizzing school'! ⁣👏👏👏 ⁣ Our full review has much much more info so make sure you visit www.goodschoolsguide.co.uk and subscribe. ⁣ ⁣ @stedwardsoxford @teddies_together @theoxfordmagazine @livingoxfordshire⁣ @bsaboarding @hmc_org ⁣ #oxfordmums #teddiestogether #schoolreview #iloveboarding #IndependentSchool #boardingschool #schoolreview #PrivateSchool #ukeducation #qualityeducation #ukboarding #britishschool #oxfordAug 5 2020
