Employability and Career Education

The Careers Programme at St Edwards School Oxford is designed to support pupils throughout their academic journey, from Shells to Upper Sixth. It provides a structured framework that equips pupils with the necessary skills and knowledge to make informed decisions about their future careers. Pupils in all years are entitled to access to the careers provisions and impartial careers advice to support them in their decision making.

Our Careers Department offers:

Impartial Guidance

The programme is delivered in an impartial, unbiased and information-led manner, with each year group building upon the knowledge and skills acquired in the previous years.

Individualised Support

The Careers Centre offers personalised guidance through one-on-one consultations and drop-in clinics. All pupils can arrange to see the Level 6 qualified Careers Adviser or Head of Careers as and when needed.

Exploration and Discovery

Pupils are encouraged to explore their interests, strengths, and values to identify suitable career paths.

Actionable Skills Development
