Archie Nicholson wins on debut

Archie Nicholson represented England Lambs (England Independent Schools U18s) on Sunday against London Scottish in Richmond. The Lambs came away with a convincing 60-12 win in what was a very free-flowing game of rugby. Archie said: ‘Whilst the opposition weren’t as strong, it was a superb opportunity for me to play on the wing alongside some talented players. The coach was certainly very positive after the game so we shall see how things go.’

On the same day, the 1st VII began their Sevens campaign in a triangular round-robin tournament involving Magdalen College School, Radley and Cheltenham. The boys were thoroughly impressive, showing great patience and character to beat all three teams. MCS were beaten 24-7, Cheltenham 28-14 and Radley by 35-7.
