A Level Results 2018

Today’s A Level results conclude a strong exam season for Teddies Sixth Formers with half of all grades awarded at A*A or Levels 6/7 and over 81% A*-B or Levels 5-7.

The vast majority of our pupils have now been able to confirm their place at top universities in the UK and overseas.

‘I am enormously proud of our pupils and staff. Teddies enthusiastically welcomes pupils with a broad range of academic abilities – it is a huge part of our character and ethos. For our pupils to have achieved results of this calibre is quite simply outstanding,’ said the Warden.

‘Even more pleasing is to look at how far we have come in the past few years. In 2012, around 70% of all grades were A*-B or Levels 5-7. This step change in academic performance has been brought about by hard work, new approaches and dedicated staff. I am grateful to everyone, not least the pupils themselves, for their effort and industry. I have no doubt that the outstanding new academic facilities currently being constructed in the Quad will fuel even greater ambition and success.’
