Tennis Update

Despite the weather reports we started the away fixture at Dean Close in sunshine; the U15 girls had 3 teams playing. The As started slowly but fought back with the match being decided by the final match in a tie break; despite a valiant effort in the rain, we lost 4-5. The Bs played well, winning their match 8-1, while the Cs match was closer: they won 5-4, with Selena Thompson and Lettie Neame unbeaten.

At home, the 1sts played a very strong Dean Close 1st VI, losing 2-7. The Shells had an equally tough fixture, the As losing 1-8, the Bs losing 3-6 and the Cs losing 0-9 – but all fought well, and are showing improvement each week.
