Wallingford Regatta

Peter Rudge, Master i/c Rowing, writes:

Last weekend, our senior rowers raced at Wallingford Regatta and achieved excellent results. The senior boys raced in small boats and the highlight was the win for our coxed four of Sam Gillingham, Sam Hamilton-Peach, Hugh Reilly, Oscar Von Hannover and Hugo Marsh in a domineering performance which saw them win the School Coxed Four event by over 10 seconds. The girls’ 1st VIII had their first event of the summer and raced extremely well to qualify for the final where they came 6th in the School Eights event. This weekend will be a busy one for the boat club with fixtures at Pangbourne, Shiplake and Bedford Regatta, and with Hugo Marsh representing GB at the Munich Junior Regatta.
