The School’s Music Department is driven by its ethos of creating stimulating opportunities for musicians of all levels. The Department’s recent move to a brand new £7 million building enables the School to build further on its cultural reputation, and give space for the Department to continue to grow and think creatively.

We are currently seeking a music teacher join the Department to cover a period of maternity leave. This is likely to involve teaching one day per week from September to December 2018. The teacher will work mostly with lower-level pianists, particularly to inspire beginners and to build up confidence in teenagers to learn piano for the first time, using either a classical approach or/and jazz, pop or rock pieces if appropriate.
