OSE Jewellers’ Visit

On Saturday, OSE Sam Hunter, Becky Wilkes and Kitty Konsta came into School to talk to the Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Form jewellers about their experiences training in the jewellery sector since leaving St Edward’s.  Sam is in the fifth year of his apprenticeship in Hatton Garden whilst Becky has finished her Jewellery and Silversmithing HND at Birmingham School of Jewellery, and is now doing their Jewellery and Silversmithing Design for Industry BA (Hons) top-up degree course.  Kitty is currently doing an NVQ in Jewellery Manufacturing at Holts in Hatton Garden with a view to applying for the Goldsmiths’ Centre Foundation Programme in preparation for an apprenticeship within the industry.  They chatted to the pupils about their studies while assisting with some practical GCSE and A level project work.
