Cowell’s Biathlon

Cowell’s boys put in a huge effort at the weekend to raise funds for the charities See Saw and SuchHope. In a mammoth 24-hour event, they began ‘spinning’ in shifts on static bikes in the Ogston Building at 8pm on Saturday. Having cycled through the night, they moved into the Quad first thing on Sunday morning and began go-karting around it until they reached a total of 822km, the distance from Oxford to Geneva. They finished at 3.30pm (after 1330 laps of the Quad!), with burning thighs all round, but happy in the knowledge that they had raised nearly £2,000 for two charities close to the School’s heart.
